"Beyond design, ecological thinking is essential for me. Sustainable fashion is a current issue and we could not ignore it, that is why I chose to work and think about the cycle of our shoes from manufacturing to to recycling.
Why make barefoot?
The idea: We have been wearing barefoot shoes since 2017 and are convinced of the benefits of this type of shoe on the body. We have identified many beneficial effects and improvements in our own bodies. For us, barefoot shoes are the shoes of tomorrow.
Following two meetings with Jean-Claude O. and Stéphane B., the idea of making our own brand slowly sprouted in Fabienne's head.
Marie joined the project with the only condition of working with already existing materials to avoid overproduction.
The design: After a few sketches and phone calls, we met the two Portuguese workshops with which we work. One is a sole manufacturer, the other assembles the entire textile part. Having never seen barefoot shoes, they were very interested and eager to work with us.
We spent two years designing our first model. We felt great joy and gratitude when the first pairs reached your feet.
Since then, several models have appeared in the range and we enjoy creating new ones.

Where does the name “Télito” come from?
It’s the anagram of Liotte, our last name.
From 2013 to present
The Télito brand was created by Marie Liotte in September 2013 for the collection of accessories that she creates and manufactures herself. The following August, the workshop-boutique opened on rue Porte d'Orange in Carpentras.
In 2017, Fabienne Liotte joined the adventure, the workshop disappeared and the boutique expanded. The whole family discovers barefoot.
Since 2019, the range of organic cotton t-shirts has appeared. Marie and Fabienne team up and work on developing their own brand of eco-responsible barefoot shoes.
In April 2021, the first barefoot Télito appeared. The model is called PRIMI, short for “primitive” and symbol of first.
In January 2023, the EQUINOXE model will join the Télito family, followed by the ESTI model in April and PLUVIO in September.
And 2024 opens the long-awaited sandal season!
