Features of our shoes
zero drop and ultra flexible
Our sole is unique and required the creation of specific molds. Because it has no heel or arch support, we had to create our own molds to meet our physiological criteria. Our sole is thin and flat, with a uniform thickness of 7mm across the entire foot. We therefore designed and patented our insole. We chose to incorporate alveoli underneath to stimulate the foot's reflex points and give the insole greater flexibility, allowing it to move freely with the foot. Wide at the front, it respects the foot's shape and allows the toes to regain their freedom, thus improving proprioception. It is made of 70% recycled natural rubber (from old soles) and 30% new natural rubber, the ideal proportion to guarantee the sole's durability. And to raise awareness about recycling, we chose to incorporate coffee grounds collected from restaurants and cork scraps, waste from the Portuguese industry.
Comfortable and ergonomic
Barefoot shoes allow you to rediscover the benefits and sensations of walking barefoot, the original and natural way of walking for humans. It is an ultra-flexible and comfortable shoe, which respects the morphology of the foot and gives it full freedom of movement. With its wide shape at the front, it is also suitable for deformed feet (hallux valgus,…). It allows the thumb to realign itself. Its thin sole (7mm) provides a self-massage thanks to the tactile feedback from the ground, which stimulates the reflex points in the feet. Posture, venous return, and the strengthening of the muscles in the feet, ankles, and calves are improved, thus protecting the knees, hips, and back.
Recycled and vegan
Beyond the well-being and aesthetic aspects, the environmental dimension is particularly important to us. Our initial idea was to offer you shoes made from organic textiles. But ultimately, organic production would have required the creation of new, specific raw materials. So we turned to recycled and 100% recyclable materials. Let's value and give a second life to what we throw away. We have therefore designed the entire lifecycle of our shoes to have the least possible impact on the environment. All our materials come from Spain and our manufacturing workshop is in Portugal. Our shoes are even 100% recyclable! We collect them at the end of their life. Creating shoes? Yes! While respecting our beautiful planet? Yes, yes, yes!!
